Thank you for visiting my site and taking the time to look at my work.
I am a textile artist, living and working in York. I create a lot using wool. This covers both my large, tactile pieces of felted art created from luscious merino fibres and my smaller, sculptural knitted and crocheted items.
I began my career in community arts in Lincolnshire in 2002, before deciding to move to York to study Art and Design at York St John University. Since qualifying I have enjoyed a variety of jobs and roles within the creative sector. I am now back to where my main creative passion lies though, creating my own work and running workshops and textile classes around the UK to show others how to get the most out their own creativity.
