Saturday 7th December 2019 (FULL)

Saturday 25th January 2020

Saturday 14th March 2020

1.00pm - 4.30pm

Knit and Stitch York, 11 Colliergate, York, North Yorkshire, YO1 8BP

WHAT TO EXPECT:

Join me and learn how to create unique and beautiful bowls, vessels and vases using only wool fibres. No previous experience of felt making is required and by the end of the afternoon session you will have a stunning, three dimensional, felted vessel to take home with you.

WHAT TO BRING:

All necessary materials will be provided. It would be useful to bring a clean towel and a plastic bag though, as your piece of felt is unlikely to be dry by the time you’re leaving.

WHAT YOU WILL TAKE AWAY WITH YOU:

A lovely, handcrafted bowl, vessel or vase that is made entirely by you, from lovely, colourful merino fibres

SKILLS REQUIRED:

None at all. This is a beginners workshop and no previous experience of felt making is necessary at all.

NUMBER OF PLACES:
There are 7 spaces available for this course. With such a small number of us, everyone will get plenty of one-to-one time and have the opportunity to ask any questions or queries as they come up.

ACCESS TO VENUE:
The workshop room that we'll be using for the afternoon is up a flight of stairs and I'm afraid there is no lift. Feel free to contact me if you need further information or specific details.

There is no parking at this venue. The nearest car park is the Shambles Q-Park, a 4 minute walk away. If you are coming to York via train, the station is about 15 minute walk away or a 10 minute taxi ride.

PRICE:

The Price for the afternoon is £35. Included in the price are all the tools and materials needed to create one beautiful piece of felt. Tea, coffee, cordial and biscuits will also be provided throughout the afternoon.

BOOKING YOUR PLACE:

To book a place on one of my workshops, please send me an email to katwoodcreates@gmail.com with your name, which workshop you would like to attend and your email address.

QUESTIONS?:

If there is anything that you’d like to ask, please don’t hesitate to contact me.
